Dear Colleagues,

Due to the continued rapid spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), TCT and PCR have decided to postpone the Partners in Learning TAVI Workshop scheduled for March 21-22 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The health and well-being of all participants is of utmost concern. Because of the outbreaks, many key faculty and attendees will be unable to participate due to hospital travel bans and other travel limitations.

Interest and support for this important program has been very gratifying. Registration has been strong in the month since registration opened. Both the Brazilian Society of Interventional Cardiology (SBHCI) and the Brazilian Society of Cardiac Surgery confirmed that the Partners in Learning event is a certifying course for Brazilian physicians willing to do TAVI cases. There has been full support from SOLACI and SBHCI, as well as by key industry partners in TAVI in LATAM.

We plan to move this event to a later date in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and are committed to working closely together to bring this unique educational forum for the ultimate benefit of the populations that deserve improved access to these new technologies.

We appreciate your continued interest, and we thank you sincerely for your understanding, your support, and your friendship.

Best,

Jean Fajadet, MD
Juan F. Granada, MD
Bernard Prendergast, MD, FRCP
